Inspired By Excellence & Innovation

CERHI is a World Bank-supported project at the University of Benin whose mission is to implement high quality training and applied research for professionals needed to build a new cohort of human resource to tackle the population and region.

MESSAGE FROM THE CENTRE LEADER

On behalf of the staff and students of the Centre of Excellence in Reproductive Health Innovation (CERHI), and the Vice -Chancellor of the University of Benin, Professor Lilian Imuetinyan Salami, I bring you good tidings from the ancient City of Benin City, the cultural heart-land of Nigeria. The Centre of Excellence in Reproductive Health Innovation (CERHI) at the University of Benin was established in 2014 under the African Centers of Excellence (ACE) Project 1, with funding from the World Bank. The project was designed to build capacity within the west and Central African regions to address the challenges related to inadequate policies and programming on population and reproductive health in the regions. Specifically, the program resulted in the fielding of Masters, PhD and Short Courses in four disciplines - Nursing, Reproductive Health, Health Economics and Public Health.

We wish everyone (including all our sister ACE's across all African countries) the very best regards and high successes.
